Dear Hayley,
Just a thank you note, for all the time and effort you spent in finding the right diamond for my wife's 50th Birthday present. My wife enjoyed her birthday break in Venice, but the diamond pendent was the icing on the cake, which nicely rounded off the birthday celebrations.
I must admit, in the light of all the adverse publicity I was slightly apprehensive about purchasing the diamond over the Internet, particularly when spending several thousand pounds. However, my misgivings were soon waylaid, all surprisingly went smoothly and the diamond is excellent, meeting all expectations.
Enclosed is a selection of photographs showing the diamond pendent at the various stages of making. The setting is in 18ct white gold, with 18ct yellow gold loops and chain. The photographs do not do the pendant justice, as the diamond's sparkle and fire tends to glare out the pictures, making them slightly dark. Also some of the photographs are out of focus.
We have had the diamond pendent independently valued for insurance purposes. The replacement value was assessed at £5,500.00. Considering the setting and
chain cost £140 and the diamond £3,500.00, I am more than pleased with my purchase.
